Reflection

As time goes on and our lives return to the normal daily grind I like to take my spare time to reflect on the past. I know I have talked a lot about my mommy and daddy lately, but I don't think I shared how hard things were for me when my family was separated. I truly treasure having both of my parents home with me and giving me lots of love and affection. I love having one of them around me the majority of the time and I delight in the family quality time they make sure I get. It is growing closer to the anniversary of the date that mommy and daddy adopted me from the Maryland SPCA. I want to make sure everyone knows that this last year has been awesome. When I came into my new home I was very sick and I have continued to have health issues, but mommy and daddy treat me like I am the most precious thing in their lives. I have had so much fun running and chasing balls, toys, squirrels, etc. Mommy has dressed me up from time to time and I get to be just like my parents by getting dressed in the morning and undressed at night. Daddy spends a lot of time letting me curl up and recharge on his lap. I get all of the hugs and kisses any puppy could ever want. I just want to thank my mommy and daddy for bringing me into this cool new life :-)
