The Holiday Wrap-Up

The holidays are a time for family and friends, good food, and cool gifts. Our holiday has been no exception. After spending Christmas Eve getting lots of treats for the whole Christmas picture thing, I went to bed and awoke to a smörgåsbord on Christmas. First daddy made chocolate chip waffles for breakfast. Don't worry my waffles didn't have any chocolate. Next mommy, daddy, and I exchanged presents. I got some cool toys and lots of fabulous treats. After presents were done mommy let me sample a little bit of each kind of treat. Mommy and daddy went out to spend some time with mommy's family, but they gave me a new chewie to keep me occupied while they were gone. When they did come home they had all kinds of cool new stuff except it is all for this Robert person and was put away in the room beyond the puppy gate aka the nursery. Mommy's family did a family baby shower for mommy, daddy, and Robert as a part of the Christmas celebration. Don't worry folks Daddy and I are working very hard to get things ready for a baby shower/open house at the new crib. Anyway back to my Christmas festivities.... once all of Robert's stuff was put away daddy played his new XBox 360 game while mommy and I took a nap. After nap time it was time for dinner and I got to eat pepperoni pizza!!! I know I am a spoiled pup year round, but the holidays are absolutely awesome. I am now too stuffed to move just like everyone else after celebrating the holidays. Good thing Christmas happens once a years and the rest of our week will be a relaxing time. Daddy is working short days and mommy only works Friday and Saturday before going on maternity leave. I will be dog napping my time away for the next few days in an effort to recover :-)
