Our Easter

Tiger: With all of the illness running around here our Easter definitely didn't go according to plan. Other years we all meet up with mommy's family at a Chinese place for our family brunch. My parents were worried about spreading our germs to everyone so we had to decline at the last moment. Daddy did suggest going out for a little bit just to get some fresh air & see something other than the inside of our house. Right as daddy was making his point mommy saw an email saying Toys R Us was open on Easter. Mommy & daddy decided to go to a different Toys R Us than we always go to so everyone could have a little drive in the sunshine. Besides a toy store would already have tons of kids germs so what were a few more.

Everyone had a good time casually strolling through the store looking at all of the goodies. The nice sunny drive with the windows down was a great spirit lifter too. Once they were home it was family movie time on the couch finished off with a dinner of chicken soup & crackers. All in all it might have been very different but it was a fabulous day of bonding, shopping, & cuddling. Just what the doctor ordered :-)
