Trixie: I love it when Nana and the gang come visit. Soooo many laps to snuggle on. Plus I was starting to go through Rayne withdraw! It's weird not having her in our house for the summer.
Tiger: You got that right sister! Family visits rock!!! Do you know how much ball play I got!?! So many people taking turns. It was heaven!
Bobby: Hahaha! Not Uncle Paul! He really doesn't like dogs at all. We are all surprised he came to visit. We are also very honored he faced his fear of flying to come to Colorado!
Tiger: I am very aware of Uncle Paul's feeling towards dogs. I've made it my life's mission to change his mind!
Trixie: That would explain your stalker tendencies.
Tiger: It's not stalking! Think of it as doggie affection 24/7. You know, just being around, giving love, and making sure he changes his mind about dogs.
Trixie: Whatever helps you sleep at night.
Bobby: Ok, ok, ok. Lets get back in track guys. We had so many adventures packed into the 5 days they were here. It was so much fun showing them around Colorado.
Trixie: That's funny. I thought I heard Mommy telling Daddy that Nana was flipping out the entire time they were driving in the mountains.
Tiger: Isn't Nana afraid of heights?
Bobby: I believe so. Plus Mommy gets her control freak issues from Nana. Therefore Nana critiques mommy's driving rather frequently. That would be why I spent a lot of the car rides in the truck with Daddy.
Tiger: Smart move kiddo. I do think it was cool that you guys were able to take everyone to both zoos in our area. Nana and Aunt Lisa must've been so happy to add 2 new zoos to their list.
Trixie: I liked sitting on the couch and looking at the animal pictures. I loved hearing the story about the 2 bears at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Let me curl up on Mommy's lap and you can tell the story for everyone Bobby. Please!
In a small Montana town 2 grizzly bears started creating a ruckus. Animal control caught them and planned to kill the bears. Luckily a family member of the Cheyenne Mountain zoo crew worked at animal control. The zoo agreed to rescue the grizzlies and create an exhibit for them.
Tiger: That story automatically make that zoo my favorite. I may not be able to see the actual zoo but as a rescue myself I like hearing these stories.
Trixie: I love that story too! Lets see what else did you do with the gang while we were locked up.... All alone *sigh*.
Oh yeah didn't you visit the garden of the gods with them?
Bobby: Yup! It looked very different from the last time we were there. Still breath taking though.
Bobby: In the end it was sad goodbyes, but everyone had an awesome time. Nana is already planning next year's trip!
Tiger: Wooohoooo!
