This, That, & Some Other Stuff

Tiger: Lots & lots of stuff going on here. We thought the easiest way to update everyone was with one post giving a brief run through of each thing instead several long posts. Here we go:

1. Bobby got a chest cold. Had issues where he would stop breathing then had to be taken to the ER. Nothing to worry about. He has the croop kind of virus, but the doctor's have decided he should use an inhaler when he is sick. Every chest illness since he was small has caused him problems with his airway getting inflamed. The inhaler & the nebulizer treatments have done wonders to help with this stuff.
2. Our Great Granddad was admitted to the hospital on the same day Bobby had to go. His doctors were concerned with some test results regarding his kidneys. Mommy never got the official confirmation from Nana, but Nana kept saying he was in kidney failure. During his 2.5 day trip to the hospital they also found 2 damaged heart valves. Last we heard the doctors were trying to decide what to do based on Great Granddad's age & current health status.
3. Auntie Janice has started chemo. Then she got sick. She had high fevers so she had to go to the hospital (notice a theme here) on Friday. They admitted her to the ICU because her white cell count was so screwy.
4. My parents had a small get together on Saturday for Bobby's birthday. Nana, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Paul, & Uncle Bill came over for some treats & to spend time with us. The food mommy made turned out great. There was way too much of it so everyone got some leftovers to take home. Bobby got some really cool presents. It was a great time for all.
5. My parents took Bobby to visit with my Great Grandparents on Sunday. We had an early dinner with them & just hung out for a while. Mommy was so happy to see them. She had a hard time not going to see Great Granddad in the hospital but with Bobby being ill at the same time it just wasn't a good idea. Bobby had tons of fun playing with everyone.
6. Mommy got attacked by a schizophrenic alley cat that my Great Grandmother feeds. Keep in mind the cat was acting all lovey & begging for attention. Also our Great Grandmother has been feeding this cat for 7 years & mommy never heard a story about the cat being mean or crazy. One minute the cat is doing the rubbing thing on mommy's leg then the next thing you know he has a chunk of mommy's hand it his mouth & is simultaneously scratching her forearm. As daddy pointed out "you should never put a cross eyed cat." Yes the cat was crosseyed as well as crazy. This would be why Sparky & I eat cats :-)
7. Watch Out World Bobby is 2 years old today!!!! Happy Birthday buddy. You make my life complete :-)
