Robert: With all of the heat we have had to be creative when it comes to using up our energy. You know what that means... CRAFTS!!! I am very lucky that my mommy likes to do silly things. All of the kids around mommy get to create our own works of art in a variety of ways depending on her ideas.
During one of our play dates next door with Ms. Kim, Aiden, & Gracie we did sticker collages. This may sound like an expensive project but it really wasn't. My mommy has been collecting stickers for 6 months so we could do this project over the summer. Most of them are either from hand outs, left over troop projects, festivals, & even the clearance rack at Target. As you can tell from the pictures we had a blast & got very silly along the creative path. Rayne & I have had the privilege of hanging our collages on the fridge for all of our guests to see. It feels great to see so many people smile from our fun. The compliments feel fabulous too :-)
Of course stickers aren't the only thing we have done. We have done lots of coloring with markers & stuff. One of my favorites was when I asked daddy to paint with me. I didn't think he would be down with artsy stuff but he jumped right in on the fun. It turned into an awesome father son bonding project. That picture is also proudly displayed on the fridge.
My mommy says she is going to take all of my art & put in a scrapbook. At first I thought this wasn't cool since they wouldn't be on our fridge anymore. Thankfully mommy explained to me that as we ran out of fridge space she would take the old ones down to put in a special book for all of us to look at whenever we want. I like this idea & I can't wait until we do more crafts :-)
