Trixie: Our garden started out as a family project back in April. Of course with all of the changes in our lives since then it became a task to help mommy with her memory. It's kinda funny how something so small has brought tons of smiles to our faces. Just simply watching these plant grow from little seeds into actual blooming flowers & veggies has been a cool experiment. Who knew mommy could chop off her black thumb & develop a green one in it's place ;-)

Our first tomato has arrived 9/1/11 (well the first one we got instead of the animals)

Our first green pepper has started growing (9/3/11)... time to find this baby a new home since mommy hates green peppers & only grew it for daddy
Mommy had to take the tomato stakes out of the ground because of the hurricane. They aren't so happy now. Those crazy winds broke a lot of our stalks & the rains flooded the ground :-(
