Robert meets Robert

Robert: Today I got to meet my mommy's father, Robert William Biondo. For those of you that don't know the story mommy's daddy died in 1995 when my mommy was 17 years old. He lived in Michigan at the time of his death with his new wife & their children. When he died his body was cremated & the ashes were split in half between the 2 places. The ashes that were brought here were placed on top of his father's casket, so they could rest together. My grandfather's birthday was Sept 11 & he would have been 57 years old this year. Mommy & Great grandma always get together on his birthday & the anniversary of his death. These 2 days are always the hardest days of the year for both of them, so they try to spend a little bit of time consoling each other. Mommy says this year is a little harder for her since her daddy never got the chance to meet me. Today they took me to the cemetery so I could visit his grave with them. My name comes from 2 sources mommy's daddy, my grandfather, & the other is daddy's grandfather, my great grandfather, Robert L. Ross. I hope mommy & daddy will take me to "meet" my other namesake when we are in Seattle this Christmas.
