Meltdown in 3... 2.. 1

Robert: 2008 has been a rough year on our family. Well it looks like this year isn't finished kicking just yet. Mommy received a call from the doctors on Friday stating that her MRI showed several lesions on her spinal cord. They rushed mommy through the system so she had a brain scan done on Monday. Today Nana went to the Neurologist with us. The brain scan showed 5 more lesions on mommy's brain. The doctors are 95% positive that mommy has MS (multiple sclerosis). They did another blood panel to check for everything that can have similar symptoms to MS. The only other test mommy has to have done is a spinal tap. Mommy is scheduled to have her spinal tap done on 11/6 at Walter Reed. Daddy will be taking some time off to take mommy to her procedure next week & make sure she can follow doctors orders to stay off her feet for a few days after the spinal tap. Mommy is still emotionally numb to the whole situation. Nana was upset on Friday when mommy told her, but she seems to feel a little more at ease after being at the doctors today. Every one else has either been expressing their sympathy or support. Mommy has yet to tell Ms. Lynn at the spa. She says she will call her tomorrow to let her know everything & tat she will need some time off. Sparky & I just want mommy to feel better. She has had several times this year where she has been very sick, so we just want our mommy back to the way she normally is. i guess we will have to wait & see how long it takes...
