Slow Return to Normal

Sparky: I know my fans, friends, & family have been anxiously awaiting an update on my status. Well like everything in our house it is a slow return to normal. I have finished my antibiotics & I have a few days of pain meds left. I am feeling better than I did the week of all the craziness. My neck wound is almost completely healed & my belly tenderness is finally alleviating. I am still very clingy & try to lay with everyone whenever I can. I do greatly enjoy all of my normal activities again & want to play most of the time. My family is ecstatic that I am getting better. My mommy was very worried about me. Of course my little incident has not been the only thing that has put a tailspin on out normal lifestyle. Daddy has been putting in some insane hours at work & it is pushing mommy to the breaking point. On Friday daddy went to work at 6 am & got home around midnight. Since it was Friday that means it is mommy's Sunday. Robert fought bedtime for hours & mommy was exhausted on Saturday. Then daddy was right back to work when mommy walked in the door from the spa on Saturday. To top it off mommy caught the stomach bug that is going around. Mommy spent 24 hrs doing her best Exorcist impression & passed out for hours on end. I think she was a little delirious off & on yesterday, but what matters is that she is starting to feel better today. Mommy is really hoping she didn't get any of her clients sick this weekend. She said it is a sickness you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy. She has quarantined herself in our house & still hasn't interacted with anyone other than daddy, Robert & I. With mommy out of commission that means our house has fallen apart so mommy will spend the next few days cleaning, sanitizing, & doing chores. At least mommy made plenty of food a couple of days ago in preparation for the weekend, so the rest of us didn't starve :-)
