The Great Name Game

Robert: So there has been a large amount of back & forth about this over the weekend & we are still no closer to a decision. I guess that perfect name is hiding out there somewhere. In the meantime I will fill your morning with a look into some of the options, reasoning, & why it isn't the "perfect" choice. Enjoy!!

Tony: This was his name when he came to us
+ The name rolls off the tongue easily; he knows this name
- daddy gets confused every time mommy says it to the puppy; daddy doesn't like mommy's idea of a new pet name for him so we can call the dog Tiny

Tiberius: was originally Julius Ceasar's name
+ could be Tibs for short, stays with the original doggy name theme (Sparticus AKA Sparky)
- Daddy works with a program of a similar name & it isn't a program he likes

Dude: don't ask me
+ daddy loves it
- mommy hates it

Leonidas: The leader of Sparta
+ Greek name, can be Leo for short
- mommy doesn't think it matches his personality

Dyson: vacuum brand
+ fits his personality
- daddy doesn't like it

Dino: Dinosaur pet from the Flintstones
+ makes dinosaur noises when playing
- daddy doesn't like it

Cerberus: Greek mythology, the multi headed dog gaurding gates to hades
+ greek name
- daddy says it is too long

Rex: as in T-Rex
+ makes dinosaur noises when playing
- daddy says no because that is the name of Aunt Angie's boyfriend

T-bone: The shape of his white spot
+ mommy likes it
- daddy hates it

*** Trust me there are a ton more names that have been thought of, but I will spare you the entire list. Any suggestions are welcomed, but be prepared that it may not make the cut. Apparently my parents are being very picky about this :-)
