Things Are A Changin'

Sparky: In the 8 days my parents have been back in MD there has been a whirlwind of changes. As you know mommy's job burned down while my family was in Seattle. The second part of the story is mommy submitted her resume online to another massage business in the area right after she found out about Lynn's Day Spa going up in flames. Mommy got a call back that same day & had a job interview scheduled for the first business day she was back in MD (last Monday). Mommy aced the interview & was offered a job on the spot. She started working Friday night. I guess it just goes to show you that the universe puts you where you are supposed to be. Mommy worked all weekend & loved every minute of it.

The next crazy, cool thing is Robert's 1st birthday. Everyone in my household is shocked at how fast his 1st year has gone by. With the daily arrival of toys via UPS it is very hard to ignore the fact that our little man is hitting the home stretch of his 1st year of life. Mommy & daddy had planned to do a family birthday party on the 17th but were unsure what would happen with the new job. Drum roll please..... There are too many massage therapists already on the schedule for the 17th so mommy will be off. It worked out perfectly! We are now in the process of getting things ready for our little get together. My parents are very excited to be able to host everyone at our house & have so much family together to celebrate my baby brother's 1st birthday. It should be awesome! My parents are also planing a big surprise for our family & we will have to wait until it is ready to be unveiled. Some of you select people are aware of what is going down, but I hope you can keep the secret until the big announcement :-)
