After Christmas Bargain

Tiger: My parents decided over the holidays to take advantage of a deal at Toys R Us. They offered rewards members 10% back on all purchases made from Halloween through Christmas Eve. My parents pretty much made sure to buy as many presents from Toys r Us as possible. Their thought process was store credit in January is perfect for Bobby's birthday.

Well mommy isn't so good with fine print. Apparently you didn't get all of it at 1 time & instead you had 1 week to use a certain amount each week in January. So my parents were at the toy store during the first week of January when they were clearancing out everything Christmas related at 80% - 90%. Bobby was overjoyed to see my parents return with a giant train set. The irony is they were charged $5 but the reward money made this beauty free instead of the origginal $60. Now we have a train to put under our Christmas tree just like daddy has wanted but it definitely didn't cost us an arm & a leg :-)
