Birthday Snow

Trixie: My family had to get up extra early on my brother's birthday. We have mentioned that mommy's infusion was the same day but that morning brought an unplanned surprise... Snow. It made the travel very hard for my parents, but in the end they made it to mommy's appt on time.

Once everyone came home & presents were done my parents took all of outside to play in the snow. I love the snow!! For some reason this seems to shock my family. I believe I heard someone say "I can't believe she likes to play in the snow! She is too prissy to get her feet wet when it rains, but she runs & digs & gets totally soaked in the snow." Whateva, I am a diva so just get used to it :-p

Either way this snow storm caused some craziness. We lost power & heat for 13 hours. This isn't so bad because all of us pile up in the big bed in one warm pile & sleep. Since we still didn't have power in the morning, just like most of the base, Daddy's boss called for a snow day. This meant we got an extra day to play in the snow with daddy. I have to admit I was very confused when I watched daddy walk off with Bobby & Tiger's leash, but he made it work in a whole new way. Bobby had a blast sledding with his daddy & mommy greatly enjoyed watching the father-son bonding.

In the end I would like to thank Mother Nature for this awesome present to Bobby. It brought our family tons of joy & happiness :-)
