Tiger: Daddy's vacation is officially over & hopefully our lives will return to normal next week *crossing my paws*. He returns to work on Monday after a 3 week vacation. No we didn't go anywhere exciting but as you know we have moved into our new house. As always our life never goes as planned & seems to be an intermittent whirl wind of chaos. For example one would think with daddy being home for 3 weeks we would be completely unpacked & settled into our new home. Well this was the plan but we still have a garage full of nonessential boxes to go through. No one is really to blame for this since life just happens.
My parents did spend 2 weeks packing, moving, & starting to unpack so we would be prepared to host our friends last Monday. After all of the prep for the cookout on Memorial Day not much has been done in our household. Daddy had to go into work twice last week plus had to complete a few reports from home. Mommy has been a little under the weather on the days after her MS shots & has been sleeping a lot. Robert has had random issues with sick symptoms but nothing constant. Daddy has been telling mommy for weeks that she is overreacting & my brother is fine. It has actually been a great source of tension in our house & made mommy begin to doubt her motherly instincts. Well after another random bout of vomiting on Thursday & Robert waking up sounding like he was breathing with scuba equipment mommy finally said enough & took my brother to the doctor on Friday. It is a good thing that mommy "overreacted" since we had to spend the entire day at NNMC going through torturous test after test. His pediatrician was worried that he had pneumonia. Our little man had an oxygen level of 94 (should be around 99 - 100) & his respiration was over 54 after he had been crying (normal is 22). Dr. Fox became very concerned with the way Robert's right lung sounded so she ordered a nebulizer treatment & chest x-rays. Let me tell you there is no reasoning with toddlers. They don't understand logic so all that is left is keeping them from hurting themselves when certain things need to occur. Yes, that means mommy spent most of her day restraining my brother while he wailed bloody murder through his tests & his treatments. This definitely proved to be one of those days that mommy wasn't very happy to be a mommy & was wishing she got to be the "fun parent". I have to give her kudos though. She made it through the entire day & waited until the car ride home to cry. The end result is Robert has an ear infection & bronchitis. He has to take an antibiotic (it is florescent pink & smells horrible!) & use an albuterol inhaler twice a day fro the next 10 days. On a plus note we found out that Robert is 28.2 lbs & 31 inches tall. My little brother is also very strong for his age according to all of the tech that had to help mommy restrain Robert yesterday. After a day like that I am surprised that my brother would even go near our mommy last night but he was constantly asking for mommy to hold him.
We have lots more to fill everyone in on but mommy really needs to get ready for work. We are hoping to stop being such blog slackers once daddy is back at work & we get into a regular routine in our new home. Ta ta for now!

So sorry to hear about Robert. Here's hoping he is back to 100% soon.
Don't be to hard on yourself with the should'ves! Think about all the stuff you DID accomplish - moving, party throwing, dr. appts, etc.
Have a great week!
