The Big Boy Room

Robert: My big boy room is coming together rather nicely. My parents have a few finishing touches to put on it but that is just framed stuff for my walls & my coat rack. One of the coolest items that will be a part of my wall art is a puzzle my parents put together for me when I was still in mommy's belly. It is a picture of a boy & his daddy (who is in the USAF) & the little boy has his own plane with Bobby hand painted on it. Daddy even made my frame from scratch. It is a very special piece of art!

In my room I have my toddler bed & dresser, but that is to be expected. You may recall that my theme is cars. I now have my very own chair & pull out couch, which I tend to pass out in a lot of time, that match this theme. I also have a cars sleeping bag for those night when I don't feel like sleeping in my bed. Mommy got me a cars laundry basket, but I am still working on keeping my dirty clothes in it. I will put them in the basket, but I also like to dump the basket out & play in it. As far as my decorations go my parents got me stickers for my wall. I also have a cars lamp & matching bookends. I have cars sheets which I absolutely love & 2 cars blankets.

My toys were we starting to take over my room so my parents invested in 2 toy chests for me. I love the one that looks like a big tool box the most. Not only does it hold my toys but it also serves as a toddler cubby & race track for anything that has wheels. Yeah, those last two things aren't in the description for the toy chest but I am creative & have found new uses for it. My other toy chest is just that... a big toy chest that matches my tool box. That one mainly holds toys but I am trying to find alternate & fun uses for that as well :-)
