Tiger: Unless you are just tuning in you know that our toddler is very quickly becoming a little boy. With this comes the evolution of his likes, dislikes, humor, & many other things. Let me start by saying that some male traits are just in the genetic make up. Period. The End. Right now farts & burps are the funniest thing ever. Plus this kid is no slouch either domain. Not only can he clear a room like a riot squad he can set off the Richter scale by sound waves alone. These fabulous, stinky, noise bombs tend to be followed by lots of giggles, a big ol' cheese grin, & "faaahhht". As a sibling I get the joy of finding this funny. It would really suck if I was a parent because it is hard not to smile, laugh, or just shout "PEEU" every time. Mommy has on a few occasions had to excuse herself to laugh in the other room.
We are also dealing with a flourishing anatomy fascination. Bobby is obsessed with his "wee wee" aka his manhood. He has also started to notice others anatomy's. Like the fact Daddy & I have a wee wee but mommy doesn't. Bobby goes so far as to get on his back & scoot under me to point out my wee wee. Picture a tiny car mechanic going under the vehicle. My parents are working very hard to correct this action. His wee wee fascination has seemed to expanded even further recently by laying on the couch watching his shows & putting his hand inside his diaper all the while chanting "wee wee". Like I said total boy behavior. We also have the developing male magnetism towards boobs & nipples aka "nimbles". Bobby likes to motor boat girls with low cut shirts if he gives them the chance to hold him. He tends to reach down shirts looking for "nimbles". Plus he lifts his own shirt to show everyone his "nimbles". You may also recall the he started pinching waitresses butts when he was 8 months old. I guess "nimbles" & "wee wees" are a logical progression given his early behaviors.
Through all of the growing & developing my brother has remained a very rough & tumble little boy. Bobby loves to play outside, explore everything, play with cars & tools, go around the house playing handy man, & creating grandiose car crashes. Needless to say it is never a dull moment here & everyone tries their best to keep up with the never ending toddler energy & ideas. Speaking of which my shift is ending so I am going to take a nap on the big bed with Sparky. Have fun Mommy :-)
