Easter Festivities

Bobby: Life is very different here in Colorado and holidays are no exception. Yeah we miss the family gatherings, but it is really nice to just kick back and enjoy doing things without rushing off to be somewhere.

Tiger: I like having everyone home more. It makes me happy :-)

Trixie: I'd like to know where all of this holiday celebratory food goes. I can tell you where it isn't going... To me. I mean us dogs.

Tiger: Trixie you are supposed to be on a diet, remember?

Trixie: Low blow hound -_-

Bobby: Anyhoo mommy, daddy and I had breakfast with the Easter bunny and I got to participate in an egg hunt on base yesterday. When we got home mommy and I dyed Easter eggs. We used 2 different ways mommy found on Pinterest. I think they turned out pretty cool, but I definitely had more fun with the cool whip way. Mommy said we can do them all that way next year. I'm so excited :-)

Tiger: I want to dye eggs. It seems really fun.

Trixie: I'm pretty sure you would've eaten the eggs and the cool whip.

Tiger: Like you could resist either -_-

Trixie: I'm not dumb enough to care about dying eggs. I'm perfectly happy standing under mommy's feet when she makes the deviled eggs. It's a lot easier than playing human and doing crafts.

Bobby: Are you both done? Tiger, I'm sorry buddy, but sadly it is something you need thumbs to do. I'm sure with Spring peeking its head out, we will find lots of fun stuff to do together.

Tiger: I can't wait. Although today was a lot of fun just hanging out on the couch with you.

Bobby: I'm excited too, buddy. I also agree that today was nice. After I got my Easter basket, daddy made chocolate chip pancakes, then I got to play video games for a bit. Lots of relaxing fun.
