Sick Times

Tiger: Our household screeched to a halt recently. It seems Bobby picked up a bug somewhere and it hit him hard.

Trixie: A bug? Where? I'll kill it. Well after I've played with it for a bit. I love a good bug toss.

Bobby: Trixie, I don't have a bug. Trust me I certainly did NOT pick one up and I do believe I would know if a bug hit me. I just got sick. No bugs involved. I swear.

Tiger: You guys are so silly. It's a saying. Yes, you were sick, very sick. 6 days of fevers is very scary, my brother. You had us all very worried.

Trixie: Awww maaaaan! I wanted to play with a bug. This sucks and so does that saying.

Bobby: Was it really 6 days? I don't really remember much.

Tiger: Yeah I bet you don't. You scared all of us with those high fevers.

Trixie: Why are we doing a post about this any way? Kid got sick for a little over a week. He cried a lot and clung to mommy like a spider monkey. Do you have any idea how hard it was to snuggle mommy while he was sick? All of the whining and crying.... Mommy spent so much time laying around holding him. Ugh, she never lays around for hours and when she did I couldn't get any space on her lap.

Bobby: Hey, hey, hey. I didn't want to be sick. It was no picnic on my end. Sure it was nice snuggling with mommy but I was always hot and cold at the same time and I couldn't breathe for days.

Trixie: Technically you were breathing. It was just hindered. If you couldn't breathe at all you would've been dead.

Tiger: Ooooookay then. Well Trixie we were posting about it to let everyone know why we have had a brief hiatus. It wasn't meant to be a long post but an introduction. I guess that's pointless now :-p
