The Apple Didn't Fall Far

Tiger: When people look at my brother, Robert, they always comment on how much he looks like his daddy. Some will debate this comment, but that isn't important. What many don't realize is he acts a lot like daddy both in his youth & present day. Robert is obsessed with his Duplo's or anything he can build stuff with. Apparently daddy had the same obsession with Lego's as a child. You can usually find some little tower or block creation somewhere in our house.

In our current life daddy does a lot of work on the truck & has taken up wood working in the last year. As a result Bobby tends to look for daddy when he is doing some man project. Mommy tells him what daddy is doing like "daddy is working on the truck". Robert will immediately run to his room & grab his toddler tools then go to the door to help daddy. Robert has also really enjoys the Disney Show "Handy Manny". As soon as the theme song starts he runs to get his tools & mimics the repairs done on the show.

Robert has also developed a fascination with cars, trucks, streering wheels, etc. When ever my parents go somewhere that has anything resembling a steering wheel or vehicle Robert requests to get in it. He also sits in his carseat or stroller & points to the different cars & trucks that drive by.

As a result of all of this daddy-like behavior Robert has been exhibiting my parents have already put in a special request with Santa. Don't tell Robert but the workbench you see in the above picture has been confirmed by Santa. It will be in front of our christmas tree on December 25th. We can't wait to see Robert's face :-)
