Our Weekend Plans & Prep

Tiger: Let me start by saying that is the weather people are correct this will be the best weekend since Dec 19 2009... maybe even better! Yup we are getting ready to have another giant snow storm starting today. Last we heard they are calling for 20+ inches of snow. Well daddy is that enough snow for you? Our daddy has spent many winters in MD complaining that we never get snow. I think this year is proving to be the winter dedicated to our Daddy. Now you know who to blame besides Mother Nature ;-)

Mommy did our usual grocery & Sam's club runs this week so we are plenty stocked up on milk, toilet paper, bread, meat, water, dog food, diapers & wipes. If the warnings are correct & we should be prepared to be trapped for 3-5 days we are more than prepared. Mommy has washed all of the blankets, replaced batteries in flashlights & gathered up a plethora of her scented candles. If you should be wandering around Fort Meade & smell an obnoxious fruit cocktail that would mean we don't have power :-)

My brothers & I are anxiously awaiting the snow. We all love to play in it. Mommy has also done most of the chores for the week so she can do several trips outside to shovel & rest in between. Our Nana has already lectured that mommy needs to make sure she doesn't over exert herself & cause a MS flare up. She will do her best to be careful. My brothers & I agree that we will keep an eye on mommy while she is shoveling. Sparky & I will do our best to eat as much snow as we can to keep mommy from shoveling too much. It's the least we can do to help :-)

I promise we will get lots of pictures for everyone. I know lots of people aren't as excited as we are but all I can say is pull the stick out of your tush & go make a snowman or snow angel. Live a little, embrace your inner child, & have fun. We sure will :-)
