Rest in Peace Pop

Robert: Last week mommy's Pop passed away. On the bright side he won't be in pain anymore but death is never someone's 1st choice for answers. Well it isn't most people's answer. Pop's passing has really messed mommy up especially with the funeral being the same day as her dad died 14 years ago. At first mommy felt very freakish for how her mind has been working, but after a talk with Aunt Kate it has become apparent that mommy osn;t the only one that starts the morbid "why do people have to die & who is going to be next" school of thought.

Last night my family went out to the viewing & it was the typical "family reunion". Has anyone else noticed that people never have time to see their family until someone dies? I swear I am not trying to be judgmental. I really think everyone gets caught up in their own little world until something happens & temporarily snaps us out of it. It was very nice to see the family last night & we know Pop was laughing at all of us swapping stories. He definitely got amusement from Auntie dearest being traumatized be certain people & the lack of filter on their mouth... I swear it wasn't my mommy this time. Many people were amazed at how big I had gotten & all of my cool toddler skills. I think in the end it was nice for everyone to share some time together even if it was for a very emotional & sad reason. In the end we want to say "Rest in Peace Robert Eugene Miller. We will all miss you Pop!"
