Robert: First up is the do it yourself Pay it Forward adventure. We love to do silly craft things like this so we jumped at the chance. Here is the lazier way of explaining this (no link using needed unless you want the whole story):
Just like our good friend Juice put on her blog please expect these gifts to be on a child &/or doggy level. Although we may take this one step farther & send a few more random gifts out to those of our friends that don't like to post comments on the blog ;-)It’s a challenge of sorts. In a nutshell, it’s to send a handmade gift to 3 people. Here are the details….
I will make a handmade gift for the first 3 interested people who comment on this post.
I have 365 days to do it in
What it will be and when it will arrive is a total surprise!
The catch is that you must participate as well:
You must have a blog.
And before you leave your comment here, write up a pay it forward post on your blog to keep the fun going. Just cut and paste this one if you like, which I did.
So, there you go…..if you’d like to receive a handmade gift from me sometime in the next 365 days, leave a comment here on my blog.
One of mommy's other favorite blogs to read posted a Christmas survey. Many of you know how much mommy loves Christmas so it should come as no surprise that we are joining in on this one too :-)
Have you started your Christmas shopping? We started in August this year. We have a few minor things to acquire but we are mostly done
Tell me about one of your special traditions. Well, since we are a relatively "new" family, we are just getting into that habit. Mommy has decided we will make a different type of homemade ornament each year. This way when I am older I get to see a Christmas tree filled with all of the cool things I made as I was growing up
When do you put up your Tree? It really depends. This year it is TODAY!!! :-D
Are you a Black Friday shopper? Nope. Mommy treasures her sanity & lack of an arrest record
Do you Travel at Christmas or Stay home? That has varied. Last year we went to Seattle to see Daddy's family but this year we are staying in MD with Mommy's family
What is your funniest Christmas memory? I don't really have any yet. I will have to ask mommy. Tiger is just as new to this stuff as I am, but Sparky loves the magic of pulling treats out of a stocking (mommy says he always gets the stocking stuck on his head)
What is your favorite Christmas Movie of All time? Mommy's is Love Actually. I am sampling right now searching for a favorite
Do you do your own Christmas Baking? What’s your favorite treat? My Nana used to make tons of cookies for all of the techs where she works when mommy was younger. Mommy has kept this tradition up for many years, but the cookies don't go to those techs. They usually go to work with daddy for his troops, off to friends, & to Christmas day at my Great Grandmother's. As far as our favorite... Mommy always makes a different set of recipes to keep things exciting, but daddy loves mommy's fudge & coconut macaroons
Fake or Real Tree? My daddy is from The Evergreen State so we usually get a real one each year
What day (as a Mom) does the actual panic set in to get it all done? I will bet mommy's panic will set in the week of the 21st. We are hosting Nana & all of the kids on the 23rd
Are you still wrapping presents on Christmas Eve? Mommy wrapped a lot of stuff before daddy came home so I don't think so
What is your favorite family fun time at Christmas? Tiger & I are new to this Christmas thing so we will have to get back to you. Mommy loves all of the decorating & baking. Sparky loves all of the food
What Christmas craft do you like the best? The ornaments I get to make... duh :-)
Christmas music? Yes or No. And if yes, What is your favorite song? Mommy has been singing it for the last week so I don't get much choice in it. I do like to add a lalala periodically though
When do you plan to finish all your shopping? Mommy says we will be done on the 21st. She has a side job that morning that will make sure we have funds for a few things
Please feel free to join us in the bloggy fun. You can use either of these ideas on your blogs should you decide too. We will be back soon with lots more posts. Take care everyone :-)

Thanks for the shoutout! I'd participate in yours but then that whole circle thing would happen and I'd be sucked into a vortex of gift giving confusion. You know. :)
