We Finally Did It!

Sparky: With mommy & I on the recovery most of last week that meant daddy was home to take care of everyone. We are very lucky to have daddy. He really stepped up to the plate & made things run smoothly.

Since we do have such a cool daddy he did most of our holiday decorating while mommy was resting (no provoking from mommy this year). We now have all of our outside lights up plus we got our Christmas tree. Our family always does holiday decorating by daddy doing all of the lights then mommy does the ornaments & other decorations. As a result we have a house brimming with holiday cheer.

Daddy always says he doesn't like this time of year & it is mommy that forces him to participate. Well I was there when daddy brought the tree home. He was very excited & kept talking about how it reminds him of the trees Great Nana & Great Grandpa always had. I will tell you this you can't force that kinda smile & excitement.

Bobby had a lot of fun dictating where things should be placed. It was a lot of down, down, no up, there. I think he definitely got into the holiday decorating spirit. Here is a little sample of some of our holiday decorations courtesy of a full family effort.

Personally I love this time of year. It is filled with cool surprises, nice decorations & yummy treats :-)
