Today is THAT Day!

Sparky: Mommy has her follow up appt for the spinal tap today at Walter Reed in DC. They will also be scheduling an EEG to figure out what is up with the seizure stuff. Mommy is very nervous about today. It isn't that mommy is scared to have MS. It revolves around that lovely world of denial. See it is very easy to pretend you just have a few "quirks" when there is no medical diagnosis. Once you get an actual diagnosis then the illusion of normalcy goes right out the window & is never seen again. Mommy is very thankful we are still stationed in MD & are so close to her family during this trying time period. Our wonderful Nana is going to be accompanying mommy & Robert at the hospital today. We need to send a special thank you shout out to Auntie Donna & Scott for picking up Aunt Lisa & Uncle Paul from school today making it possible for Nana to come along. Mommy has tried very hard to keep Robert & I on our morning schedules so we aren't too thrown off course today. We all had breakfast at a normal time, I got my daily play date at Ginger's during Robert's morning nap, & mommy got a shower. I am getting ready to curl up for my morning nap as Robert is getting up. While I am nice & cozy curled up on the couch my little brother will be getting in the bath tub & prepared to venture out. We will keep everyone posted as to what goes down today.
