Sparky: Today mommy did it! Mommy, daddy, & Ms. Ki (friend & RN) met with the MS nurse, Maria, today. Maria answered the torrent of questions with finesse & grace. Mommy really liked her. Maria will be mommy's "personal" nurse. She will be checking in with my family periodically to see how mommy is handling the shots, help us through any side effects, MS episodes, & answering our questions when we think of more. She will also be working directly with mommy's doctor to make sure everyone is on the same page with the MS stuff. Ms. Delaina watched me for part of the meeting then I got to come home for the shot part. Mommy wanted me around since I will be here every time she gets the shots. I did very well even though I was nervous as mommy's anxiety mounted prior to the first injection. We will keep everyone posted on the progress. We want to thank all of our friends & family for their support & encouragement through this new transition in our lives :-)
