Stupid Is As Stupid Does

Robert: Just need to get a few things off of my chest today.

Ms. Cassie (the friend next door that we helped get away from her abusive hubby) found out she is pregnant & has returned home to Josh(the douche bag hubby). Plus she wanted all of Noah's stuff back. It is not that I wanted him to go without but I really liked some of those toys & the high chair. Thankfully mommy says Santa may bring me my own version of these toys (Thank you Nana for being "Santa"). My parents have decided to stay out of the drama from here on out & put everything in the hands of the universe. Our family went through hell for intervening & we will not go through it again.

What is it with the lack of holiday spirit? The holidays are a time to cherish family & be merry... not petty, nasty, & childish. People will punch each other out over something as dumb as a parking space or a shopping cart. Families seem to feel the need to sling guilt & mud at each other plus bring past skeletons out of the closet during attacks. People become obsessed with dollar amounts instead of love. All I got to say is WTF (What The Fudge- see keeping that PG rating)!!!!!!! First off what happened to goodwill towards fellow man? Tis the season to be jolly? People it isn't that damn cold out that you can't walk a little farther instead of wanting to harm each other over parking spots. Be happy that you are healthy enough to walk at all let alone shop. Stop fighting each other over carts, items, & places in line. The holidays are not about material stuff. It is about love & family. Next to those families out there that are waging war with each other.... STOP IT!!!! There is a reason the saying goes blood is thicker than water. You will have your family all of your life. Other people come & go, but family will always be there. A higher power felt that it is important for you to be a part of a particular family. No, people will not always get along. No, people will not always be kind. But for the love of all the is magical pull your head out of your bum & have a little compassion. Everyone goes through hard stuff & it makes them emotional & sometimes mean. Your family is supposed to love you no matter what. Through thick & thin. Period. The End. Everyone makes mistakes. Everyone argues at some point. Get over it. Embrace what ever family you have during this time of year. You never know how long it will be before some one is gone forever & you can't say that you are sorry, I love you, or I miss you. Life is fragile & the universe proves time & time again that you never know how long you have on this earth. Just get over yourself... no one is immune to karma.
