Bigger Over Night?

Robert: Yes we are still playing catch up from the past week so please bear with us if you already know these stories from talking to mommy :-)

On Tuesday mommy took Tiger to the vet for his next puppy check up. In 3 weeks time he has gotten A LOT bigger. When he stepped on the scale he displayed just how much he has grown... He weighed 30.8 lbs! That is a little more than 5 lbs in 3 weeks. He also got 2 more shots. All in all the vet was very happy with Tiger's changes. He did great with all of the other dogs in the waiting area. He made it through his exam with very minimal issues. Tiger did get a little snappy when his eyes were examined. The vet told mommy not to worry about this because it isn't uncommon. Apparently some dogs have problems with people shining lights in their eyes. Dr. Holden also pointed out that Tiger is experiencing a few hormonal issues because he is in puberty at the moment. It was recommended that we get him neutered soon if we were planning to do it anytime in the future. You know what that means... mommy is riding daddy's butt to get it arranged.

Also on the growing puppy front now that we have been using the kennel from Auntie Donna it is greatly reducing problems in the house. Tiger isn't shredding everything he can get his paws on when my parents leave the house. He is also in a routine for meals now. As soon as Tiger sees mommy with dog food he heads straight to his crate. It is making things so much easier here. The other thing we want to mention is the numerous amounts of people commenting on Tiger's breed. We now have several people including the vet saying he might have mastiff in him. Since a lot of people have made these comments it caused my parents to investigate & they were shocked to find puppy pictures that resembled Tiger. If he really is mixed with Mastiff then he is going to be 1 BIG boy. I guess only time will tell :-)
