Tiger: Well Sparky is doing a lot better after his 2nd day of meds. He finally has enough energy to play with me again. Plus he doesn't start coughing as soon as we start to chase each other. I am very excited to have my big brother returning to normal.
On the baby front Robert has gotten the chicken pox. Thankfully he only has 5 or 6 spots & it is from the vaccine instead of being exposed to another child with the illness. I also need to say thank you to the super mommy of the year, Ms. Delaina. Our mommy started to panic when Robert's diaper rash got really weird looking. One quick call to the Ms. Delaina advice hot line got us the answer to what was going down. Robert has a yeast infection, but not to worry Ms. Delaina had the home remedy to fix this too. She really is soo amazing! After 1 day of treatment it looks fabulous & is almost completely gone.
Mommy on the other hand is having a little more difficulty getting better. About 3 hours before she was supposed to go for her 2nd treatment at Walter Reed on Tuesday she was having symptoms of the MS attack coming back. Mommy didn't see the sense in rushing off to the ER when they would just give her the same treatment she was already scheduled to get. The problem is that this time the steroids didn't take all of the symptoms away. Mommy did feel better after it but she is still having some paralysis in her throat... It is hard to explain but it makes it hard for mommy to swallow & her voice is off. Mommy & daddy aren't sure if it is just a case of the symptoms were so severe on Monday that the bar was higher or if mommy needs a different treatment. Don't worry we have contacted Dr. Hegde about all of this stuff to get an answer. Mommy does have a 3rd treatment scheduled for today so we don't know if this is just something that takes time, but hopefully we will have some answers soon.
I will leave you with a thought for the day: You are only as strong as the things you are able to overcome. This means our family will be super strong once we make it through all of the craziness. We will continue to keep our fingers crossed & put out tons of positive energy. We will keep you posted as to what happens :-)
