The Forgotten Chronicles

Tiger: In Sparky's haste to vent about mommy's boss some stuff was skipped. I am here to fill you in on these stories & tidbits of our past few days>>

First up is the untold story of Robert's doctor's appt. Yes some of it was mentioned but there is quite a bit of untold comedy & other facts. Robert is now 29.7 lbs. He is officially no longer taking infant Tylenol & Motrin. The doctors told mommy he needs to be on Children's medicine since the weight cutoff on the infant stuff is 23 lbs. When Bobby was in the exam room with the doctor he struggled a lot. The doctor seemed uncomfortable with mommy restraining Bobby at first. Can you tell he is new to the pediatrics ward? As a result Robert kicked the doctor in his man jewels a couple of times then twisted away from the doctor. Our brother proceeded to head straight to the exam room door, open it, & bolt off down the hallway. Mommy had to go chase him & do a sort of swooping tackle to get him. All the doctor could say was "It is a good sign he has so much fight in him." Up until this point mommy was a little embarrassed by Bobby's behavior. Once the doctor made his comment mommy shrugged it off. After all it was the doctor's man parts that suffered, so if he was ok with it then so be it. In the end mommy did have to fully restrain my brother for his exam to be completed.

Next is Sparky's identity Crisis. Mommy got an email from the company that is in charge of Sparky's microchip. Nothing is wrong. It was just a standard message to make sure all of our info was up to date in the system. Mommy noticed that Spaky's birth year was listed as 2001. This is odd because my parents got Sparky in 2006. Mommy could have sworn he was only 1 1/2 yrs old (approx) when they adopted the artist formerly known as Ajax. After a consult with Sparky they are both even more confused. Mommy thought that the MDSPCA set up the original information based on the application. So that brings up some questions. Is Sparky really almost 9 yrs old? It would explain his crotchety old man syndrome. Is this a typing error? Always possible. Did the MDSPCA put the info in originally or did mommy? Many of you know mommy has a very crappy memory so anything is possible. Sparky doesn't recall & now fears this is from a senior moment. Of course daddy may be the key to all of this. He seems to have the best memory out of everyone plus he knows where all of the paperwork is. I guess we will have to pause this mystery for a week or 2.

Many of you are probably wondering how Bobby is feeling. Truth be told he seems fine. He does still have a runny nose & a cough but his fevers have stopped. The doctors did warn mommy that they may go away & return, but so far they are on hiatus with no sign of returning. Bobby has been horse too so mommy has been letting him have the occasional Popsicles. Mommy is beginning to wonder if Bobby fried a couple of brain cells with the fevers. No mommy isn't being mean. Robert seems to have lost all fear & desire for safety. He is climbing up on everything. Mommy has caught him swinging from shelves in the closets, found him on top of the counters, standing on the dinning room table & my favorite standing with one foot on a pile of toys grasping the shelf with daddy's PS3 on it. Bobby knows how to open the back door so he has been stripping down to his diaper & running outside into the cold. I guess we should be thankful that he is leaving the diaper on. Now please understand my brother is rather quick & all it takes is for mommy to turn her back or go potty & he is off into mischief. Mommy doesn't sit around watching soap operas & munching on bon bons while my brother is freely frolicking. Needless to say mommy is a little stressed & hasn't been able to get a lot of housework done.
