Toddler Talk

Tiger: Spending so much time indoors this last week has created some interesting stories in our house. First is the fact is was monsoon season. Mommy couldn't have asked for better weather to be stuck indoors except for the Sparky factor. You see Sparky loves water but only if it is his choice to experience it. When it is rainy & cold Sparky will not go outside. If by some small miracle you do get him outside he sits by the door shivering & whining instead of going potty. This always frustrates our mommy because that means Sparky pees in the house a lot more than usual. One way you can tell that mommy yelled too much about this was Bobby's pee pee chants. He spent an entire day chanting pee pee & everything was suddenly "pee pee". Thankfully this wore off, but was replaced with something even funnier. Now when Bobby sees anything wet on the floor he gasps, puts his hands on the sides of his face & says "Uh oh pee pee" then points. It is too cute & I am sure the description doesn't give it justice.

Mommy has also been working with Bobby on putting toys away. His and ours. Mommy "borrowed" 2 of daddy's empty bins from the garage & is using them to store toys in the living room. I must say that the navy goes very well with our furniture. Bobby is much better at putting our toys away than he is at putting his own toys away. Either way our little man now says toy aka "towee".

I have save the best story for last. You may recall that mommy has been letting my brother have popsicles after dinner. Well Mr. Smarty pants now knows where they are & constantly pulls on the freezer door chanting "tgul" (his word for popsicle). The other night he finished his popsicle & started saying "tgul". Mommy told him he already had one. Bobby replied "two". Mommy asked if he was asking for another popsicle. Bobby said "Peeeezz. Two...peeeezz". Needless to say mommy couldn't resist & Bobby got 2 popsicles after dinner. Yes Daddy, we know mommy spoils Bobby :-)
